Welcome to the Coaters Section web site! The Coaters Section is a section of the Fluoropolymers Division, a business unit of The Society of the Plastics Industry, Inc.

The Section is devoted to the advancement of the business interests of custom coaters using fluoropolymer-based coatings by: supplying information regarding the performance advantages of fluoropolymer coating materials, providing a network for the dissemination of this information, and providing a forum for the discussion of issues relevant to the use of fluoropolymer coatings on various substrates in a multitude of industries.

Membership in the Coaters' Section is open to all members of the Fluoropolymers Division of the Society of the Plastics Industry who are engaged in the manufacture, application, or supplying of fluoropolymer coatings as custom coaters.
